Roles, permissions & exports

What admins, managers, and reps can do; CRM export and legislation sync rules.

RepDesk distinguishes super admin (platform operator), org admin, admin, manager, and user roles. Higher roles inherit capabilities of lower roles for CRM operations.

Admins and org admins

  • Manage users, invitations, and many org-wide settings.
  • Configure CRM objects and fields, pipelines, and commission settings (where applicable).
  • Typically have CRM export rights without extra toggles.

Managers

Managers usually manage pipeline structure, see team views, and export CRM data. Exact rights can vary slightly by company policy.

Standard users

Users work records they own or that visibility rules allow. Some capabilities (commissions visibility, deal builder, export) are controlled by permission flags on the user record in Admin → Users.

Legislation Intelligence sync

Running data syncs for Legislation Intelligence (LegiScan, political data, text analysis) is restricted to admins or users explicitly granted the Legislation Sync permission. Viewing maps and trackers does not require sync rights.

Who can sync? Admins or users with the Legislation Sync permission only. Everyone else can still use read-only tabs on Legislation Intelligence when the feature is enabled.
