Legislation Intelligence (if enabled)

Map, tracker, and who can run data syncs.

Legislation Intelligence is optional per company. When your admin turns it on, you’ll use it from Regulation (or the Regulation / Legislation entry your navigation shows). It brings together geography, compliance-oriented insights, state-level summaries, a legislative tracker, and supporting calendar and resources.

If you do not see this area at all, your tenant may not have the feature—ask an org admin.

Viewing vs syncing (read this once)#

  • Viewing — Most tabs and insights are meant for broad use: reps and managers can explore maps, state cards, tracker lists, and similar read-only content (subject to your org’s policy).

  • Syncing — Actions such as Sync All or per-source sync pull external legislative data and can consume API quota and cost. Those actions are limited to admins or users granted Legislation Sync—see Roles, permissions & exports.

If you are not sure whether you should press a Sync button, ask an admin first.

Exact labels can shift slightly between releases—use the tab names in your live app as the source of truth.

Admin configuration#

API keys, tenant search keywords, and other sensitive settings are configured under Admin → Regulation Settings (or the equivalent name in your build). Do not paste keys into chat or email—use your company’s secret storage and the admin UI only.

Getting help#

  • Data looks stale — Ask an admin whether a sync is allowed to run and when it last completed.

  • Wrong state or bill — Confirm filters and source settings with an admin before filing a product ticket.

  • Platform error — Contact support@repdesk.io with time, tab, and screenshot (no secrets).
